How One Aussie Customer Inspired Our Most Popular Dish



Sometimes, the best ideas come from the people we serve.


A few months ago, a friendly customer from Australia walked into our café and ordered a classic avocado smash—but with a twist. She smiled and said, “Can I get goat cheese and bacon on that? That’s how Aussies eat their avo.”


We were intrigued. Of course, we made it for her. The creamy avocado, the tangy goat cheese, the salty crisp bacon—it was love at first bite.


We couldn’t stop thinking about it. The combination was simple but perfect. So we added it to the menu, officially naming it the Aussie Avo Smash in her honour. Since then, it’s become one of our most popular dishes. Locals and visitors alike keep coming back for it.
